Our program involves exercises to gain strength, balance and co-ordination in our bodies, including Qi Gong which is similar to moving yoga, plus stationery Tai Chi form, then practicing the Yang style 24 tai chi form. We also practice the short version Yang 8 form, combined styles 42 form, the Sun short form and some sword (jian) forms. The Thursday classes are now outdoors from 10:45 am to midday (weather dependent) at the Wellington Street Beach Park area, by the play area in Hamilton East, overlooking the Waikato River. New people welcome. Cost is $5 per session.
